Michael W Chapel Hill , NC April 04, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS2555SL/XAA Low voltage to the start relay After replacing a defective condenser motor and fan along with the compressor start relay and compressor overload protector switch, I found that the voltage coming from the controller board was way to low; hence, I purchased a new controller board. I put the new board in along with a new run capacitor and...voila...she is good to go and has been running fine. I am a rank amateur but after digging and digging info and videos on the internet, I got her done! Bob R Fair Oaks Ranch , TX March 25, 2017 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG RS267LABP/XAA Refrigerator section only cooling to 50 degrees freezer section ok First thought it was the fan because it was making a noise so replaced it. Removing the inside covers showed coils all frozen so decided the "defrost sensor" must be bad. Since AppliancePartsPro has no problem with returns, I also ordered the main board.....that would be the only other possibility. Turns out the "defrost sensor" was the problem. During the first 24 hours when things were getting back in sync, we had some water come out on the floor during the first defrost cycle, so I recommend placing a towel in the lower section of the refrigerator for the first 24 hours. The original fan noise was apparently due to the ice build up & not a bad fan. I'm keeping the fan rather than putting the original back. Still saved at least $250, & good support from AppliancePartssPros.. Their coil cleaning brush works really well too. Eddie H Commerce , GA December 20, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS2556SH/XAA-0000 The main pcb went bad I recruited my nephew to help me put it in. He had worked with a local school system in their maintenance department and his knowledge was a huge benefit. We both pulled the casing out of the refrigerator that contained the PC Board. Replaced the old board with the new board and so far is working just fine. What was amazing and sad about this repair is that I had called a reputable service company out and both techs insisted that they could not find the part. That part was not being manufactured anymore. They tried to sell me an in home warranty choice program for $599 not once but several times. They even told me they could get me a discount on a new refrigerator of my choice and, that they would be willing to take the old one off my hands if I paid them $50. That is when I went to the internet and found AppliancePartsPros.com and went through their suggestions on what may be wrong with my refrigerator. Their information was spot on and it is running fine. Thanks for the information or otherwise we would not have known what to look for and, I would have ended up with a new refrigerator when I did not need one.
