James December 07, 2020 for Model Number SS25HFXLS00 My refrigerator door is tearing the seal consistently at the upper hinge corner. I have used both petroleum jelly and food grade lube (left over form rebuilding Kitchen Aid mixer) on the seal and it still pulls it down. I have seen on a blog that the factory actually applies a thin layer of glue on the seal to keep them in place. Can adhesive, P/N AP6007489, be used for this or is there another one? The seals are very expensive and so far I have not found a reason like a sharp edge for them to fail. Kirkland side by side refrig.
