Tom May 12, 2011 for Model Number MAV7600AWW When I set my wash temperature control switch to warm/cold I get a rinse of warm water. I have tried pressing the cold/cold switch as the washer is filling up with rinse water and the temperature remains warm. I do however get cold water when I set the switch to cold/cold at the beginning of the cycle. Can you tell me if this is a control board problem or a water inlet valve problem.
Ofh April 25, 2011 for Model Number MAV7600AWW - SerialNbr: 25269845AL My washer isn't regulating the hot water correctly. The hot water supply is working correctly, so I suspect that the problem is the analog water temperature board. The basic symptom of the problem is that the hot water cycle isn't shutting off. This has been an issue for some time, which was circumvented by installing a manual shutoff on the hot-water supply side and manually turning off the hot water when the tub filled. Would replacing the board be the solution, or is there a problem with the water inlet control (directly in back of the hoses)? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello OFH. If the hot water does not shut off until you turn it off at the shut off, you will need to replace the water valve 12002158. Hope this helps. Read More...
