Jeff The Do It Yourself Fixer-Upper April 08, 2014 for Model Number DWU6402AAM Hi, Your info says replacement silverware basket, P/N 918873 is the new universal replacement for various makes/models of dishwashers? My old basket measures 9.5"L x 6"W x 6.75" H. Pictures on the net of the new replacement part overlaid on the 1" size grid shows it to be almost 12" long. This would appear to be too long to fit between the rack's edge and the spray tower. (My washer's max length would be approx. 10 "). Please tell me I'm wrong cause the wife wants the broken basket replaced YESTERDAY! And I'm tired of washing the stuff by hand. Thanks and have a Great Day. Jeff
