Debbie July 01, 2016 for Model Number RTW4640YQ0 I've replaced the lid lock kit on my top load washer, but the lid still will not lock, so my washer will not run. Could it possible be the door latch?
1 Answer Debbie, It would be recommended to access the tech sheet located in the control panel and put the unit into a diagnostic to see if there are any stored error codes. If there are any codes then this will point you in the direction of what could have failed. Richard December 18, 2013 for Model Number MVWC400VW1 The top is missing a fastener that locks it unto the cabinet. I see a plasitic grommet on the cabinet but a slip obn fastener is missing from the right front of the top. I dont recognize it in the parts diagram

Jon November 03, 2011 for Model Number wtw6800ww1 There's a black piece that I thought was on this bezel that the lid locks into. The piece of black plastic broke off so that the lid won't lock and washing machine won't cycle. Is that piece on here, or is it a seperate part?
