Whirlpool WPW10619844 Lid Lock Assembly OEM Part

Video on the appliance pros site was great. Very clear and guided me through every step, I think anyone can feel confident making this lid switch repair.

Pulled out old lid lock,wasn't to difficult

Removed and replaced Lid Latch assembly. Washer has no further issues!

I read through the issues related to my problems. I purchased both parts so if one was fixed then the other still needed to be fixed I would have the part. I watched both videos for replacing the parts which made things so much easier. I will say prying in the front clips was the biggest issue out of the whole repair. I repaired the suspension issue by replacing the 4 rods. The very last rod that I replaced was indeed bent. I closed the top and ran one load and then the lid lock issues resumed. I then replaced the lid lock part. I now have a washer that works. Appliance Part will be the first place I return for parts and assistance with appliance issues. Awesome site and money saver. I was stunned and amazed that the directions we watched on you tube were spot on. It was a repair that I was able to do myself. I only needed to replace the latch and that fixed the problem, your tech was knowledgeable and the products came right away, thank you for saving me a costly repair bill.
