This dryer blower wheel assembly mounts on the drive motor and spins to move air through the drum, lint filter, and exhaust. Replacing a cracked, warped, or stripped wheel restores airflow, reduces noise, and helps prevent overheating or shutdowns. What it does:

  • Attaches to the motor shaft to draw and push air through the drum and exhaust duct
  • Maintains proper airflow across thermostats/heater for stable temperature control
  • Helps resolve weak vent airflow and extended cycle times
  • Common symptoms include rattling/scraping from the blower area and motor running with little or no airflow
What's included:
  • 1 blower wheel assembly
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power; for gas models, also shut off the gas supply
  • Access the blower housing, remove the retainer (clip/nut) as designed for your model, and extract the old wheel
  • Clean lint and debris from the housing and duct before reassembly
  • Seat the new wheel fully on the motor shaft and verify it spins freely with proper clearance

Jay for Model Number kenmore 665.15791790

The dishwasher was not draining fully and dirt was left on dishes so I replaced the check valve which solved that problem but there is a small leak at the site where the valve screws into the body of the machine. I've tried teflon tape but it still leaks. Is there another part I may be missing? On the parts diagram it shows something at the end of the check valve with a number 6 which looks like it could be a a valve seat. Do I need this too?

1 Answer

Jay, If there is no O-Ring on the check valve then you will want to get one and install it. The part number for the O-ring is WP357574.
