Mark November 02, 2016 for Model Number WW30430W I have a Jenn-air double wall oven 1998 vintage. WW30430W. Oven is beeping and displays fault code FC. It will not reset or operate. I tried shutting off the breaker over night and re-setting the breaker, still the same. could replacing the Relay Board fix the problem? (WP74006613)
1 Answer Hello Mark. That is a communication error. You will need to check the J2 harness and make sure it is good and connected good. If so, then the relay board will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
John September 02, 2016 for Model Number JJW9627BAB Jenn Air double oven started flashing an F2 error code and beeping. Only trying to use the bake feature, but broiler comes on and will not shut off. Turned off breaker and after a few minutes turned it back on. Didn't push any buttons, but broiler came back on. From what I'm reading, it sounds like the relay board.
1 Answer Hello John, The F2 indicates the control has sensed a temperature over 620°F in bake mode or 950°F in self clean mode. Ohm the sensor and harness and if they read properly, (about 1100 ohms at about 70°F), replace the power relay board. Read More...
Harry August 15, 2016 for Model Number WW30430B I have Jenn air double convection oven. When put into self clean mode the F7 error comes up after a few minutes and unable to reset anything. Have tried leaving breaker off for a few days but code is still there and warning beeping when breaker turned back on. Any ideas?
1 Answer Harry, The F7 error code is a shorted key on the membrane switch. The membrane switch is part number 71001873 which unfortunately has been discontinued with no suitable replacement available. It would be recommended to take the control panel off an access the control board. Disconnect the ribbon harness and check for corrosion and clean with a rubbing alcohol. Reinsert and see if this corrects the issue. If it does not then the membrane switch is faulty. Read More...
