This user interface control board sits behind the dishwasher's control panel, reading button presses and lighting indicators while communicating with the main control. Replacing a failed UI board can restore responsive controls and proper cycle selection. What it does:

  • Interprets keypad/touchpad inputs and sends selections to the main control
  • Powers and manages console indicator lights
  • Common failure symptoms include an unresponsive or intermittent control panel, no indicator lights, or a unit that won't start or accept selections
What's included: 1 user interface control board Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before service and use ESD precautions; handle the board by its edges
  • Access the UI by removing the console/inner door as directed in the tech sheet
  • Transfer and fully seat the ribbon cable and wire harnesses; reuse mounting hardware as required
  • After reassembly, restore power and run keypad/diagnostic checks per the unit's tech sheet, if applicable

Hello. Programming Mode: NOTE: The Program Code is located on the Serial Plate on this unit after the word Code. 1. Press and hold the Door Alarm Keypad. 2. Press and hold Freezer Temperature DOWN /- Keypad within 3 seconds. 3. Release the Door Alarm Keypad and wait 3 seconds. 4. The control will display PE to indicate the programming mode. 5. Entry is confirmed by pressing the Freezer Temperature DOWN /- Keypad once more. 6. The control will display the current Program CODE. This value should be validated with theProgram CODE printed on the unit serial plate. NOTE: If the Program CODE is correct, the Programming Mode is exited by pressing Door Alarm Keypad for 3 seconds. 7. Press the Refrigerator Temperature UP /+ Keypad or Refrigerator Temperature DOWN /- Keypad to change the digit value with each key press. 8. The decimal point indicates the selected digit. Press the Freezer Temperature UP /+ Keypad to select the next digit. 9. Once the desired Program CODE is entered, press and hold the Freezer Temperature DOWN /- Keypad until the Program CODE begins flashing indicating it has been saved. NOTE: If you attempt to enter an invalid Program CODE the control will not save the new code, but will beep. (The unit will NOT run with a Program CODE of 0000).Once the Program CODE has been saved the Programming Mode is exited by pressing any key. If the new code is incorrect this process should be repeated. The Programming mode can be exited at any time by pressing Door Alarm key for 3 seconds or will exit if unattended for four minutes.

Control panel not responding - freezer display is -5, and fridge is 38 - however the fridge is colder than that around 32. unable to get any button to respond - removed and performed visual of main control board and all looks good - after power plugged back in the unit goes right back to -5 and 38. trying to figure how to remove control panel - can get two side clips out, but can not get front unsnapped to remove and check connection in this area.

Joe, Yes the control would be the most likely cause for the issue. When you remove the light lens on the back side of where the control is, there are 2 holes that you stick a flat blade screwdriver into and push inward to remove the control panel from the unit.

Glenn, With the dispenser lights flashing and the fans and compressor operating intermittently then the issue will be caused by a faulty HV board which is part number WPW10312695.

Hello RH. Check and see if the compressor is running. If so, you have sealed system failure and will need an HVAC tech. If the compressor is not running, you will need to check out the board in the unit.

Matt, The "personality code" for your refrigerator is listed on the serial tag in the refrigerator compartment. Usually in the lower right hand corner of the tag under the word CODE. You'll need to program that code into the control board in order for the refrigerator to operate properly.
