Mike May 22, 2013 My sears kenore top load washer leaks water from the front bottom. What repair is needed?
Roger February 27, 2013 for Model Number Kenmore Elite 110_16922503 Hello, The machine fills up normally and then stops (no washing cycle). If I move the knob to move ahead to rinse or spin it works. I have already changed the lid switch. I am thinking it is the 60hz timer (the main control knob). What do you think?
1 Answer Hello Roger. Yes, if you can advance the timer and get the unit to working, you will need to order and replace the timer on the unit. Read More...
Julie January 18, 2013 for Model Number Roper RAS7133RQ3 My washer will fill but won't drain or change to any other cycle. I used to be able to get it to change by slamming the lid several times and it would eventually change. Now it won't change at all. It's only about 6 years old. One of the hinges on the lid is now broken so I wonder if that has something to do with or if the timer is broken. Any help is greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Julie. You will need to check the lid switch on the unit and see if it is bad. If so, it will cause the issues you are having with the unit. Read More...

Ryan August 22, 2012 for Model Number 110.22832100 Washer will complete all cycles until it hits rinse. At that point, I have to manually click the knob 1 position and rinse will start. No other issues whatsoever are noticed at this time, other than the manually moving the knob
1 Answer Hello Ryan. If the unit spins out and finishes properly, it sounds like the timer WP3955190 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Lisa July 01, 2012 for Model Number LSQ9200PQ0 Washer fills and does nothing afterwards. I am trying to determine if it is the Lid Switch or Water Level Switch?
1 Answer Hello Lisa, You can test this from the pressure switch W10337780. With a test meter and using ground as a reference, test for 120Vac. If you have it on two terminals, it's passing the voltage. You can test the lid switch WP8318084 from the main top where the three wire connector plugs in. If you unplug the unit, you can test for continuity when the lid is closed and when you find it, open the lid and make sure the circuit opens. I would first suspect the lid switch since this is the configuration that is so delicate if the lid is dropped. Read More...

Marc January 22, 2012 for Model Number 11028882790 As the machine gets to the rinse cycle, after draining the water from the wash cycle, the machine makes a whirring sound, but nothing happens from what we can tell.
1 Answer Marc, If the washer fills, washes and drains, but does not spin, and makes a noise, you need to look for a damaged drive coupler 285753A or a slipping clutch or stuck brake pads 285438. Here's a post from the Appliance Parts Pros Repair forum, that should help you through the checks and repairs [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/washer-repair/3265-replacing-direct-drive-washer-brake-shoes.html].
