Julie R. February 09, 2014 for Model Number DU8770XB1 Appliance repair guy told me I needed a kick plate for my dishwasher (he was at my house fixing my clothes dryer). Year ago my boys ran thru the house and kicked it. it was hanging by a thread and one day I just took it off and tossed it. I covered the area w/ black duct tape so the wires wouldnt be exposed and for cosmetic purposes. I looked on your site and saw the "toe panel" which looks like what I need, plus front access panel. My question is, will the toe panel come with any hardware or trim to attach it to the dishwasher and to the access panel? Also, will I need to order any other parts for that area of the dishwasher? Any help would be appreciated. I cant afford a new dishwasher yet, was hoping to make this one look better.
1 Answer Julie, the kick plate is part number WP3379920. It includes the insulation however, it does not include the screws, part number WP302868. The access panel is part number WP3369193. It uses the same screws for installation as the kick plate. Thanks. Read More...

Sandra H. August 25, 2012 for Model Number TUD5700EQ2 Is this the part that will stop the leaking from under the door?
1 Answer Hello Sandra, This part can help in some cases but, most of the time a spray arm is separating, holes in the spray arm are stopped up, or the unit has been over soaped. Of course you can inspect the spray arms for food particles and separations, but to check for an over soap condition, you have to start a cycle with no soap and no dishes. Let it fill with water and circulate the water for 1 to 2 minutes. Open the door and wait 20 seconds. Now after 20 seconds any bubbles present will be soap bubbles. If this is the case, the situation can be cleared with a sanitation cycle. Read More...
