Darrin August 07, 2024 for Model Number Whirlpool WEG745H0FS our oven and broiler quite working. i have replaced both ignitors and still no "clicking" to ignite. i am told the control board needs replaced. Do you agree? I need help with finding the part number for the correct control board if possible
1 Answer Darrin, with the bake cycle started and the gas supply turned off, the spark module W10860916 would need to be tested for 120VAC from connection J1 pin 6 to pin 4. If there is voltage present, and the burners are clean, the spark module would be the cause of failure. If there is not voltage present, the most likely cause of failure would be the main control W10885069. Read More...
Frank June 24, 2024 for Model Number WEG730H0DS0 The gas range oven control screen is blank. I believe the unit has 120 power: The igniters work for the surface burners. We can hear beeps when buttons are pushed on the control panel. The oven light turns off and on. We tried activating and deactivating the energy saver option and nothing still shows up on the screen. But we can turn on the screen lock which turns off the beeping when the buttons are pushed. The beeps return when the screen lock is turned off. What part has failed and can I replace it? Thanks. Frank
1 Answer Hello Frank, thank you for contacting APP, It sounds like the Display Board WPW10603098 is experiencing connection issues to the Main Control W11050551, the Display Board has failed, the Display Harness W11176109 has failed, or the Main Control has failed. Due to the fact that the Keypad and Main Control seem to be functional, I would suspect connection or harness issues, or that the display itself has failed. Unplug the unit and access the Display Board and Main Control, disconnect the harness running between the 2 and inspect it for any damage or corrosion, replace harness if damaged or corroded, and then reconnect the harness securely to each. If the display is still not working replace the Display Board. Read More...
Curtis June 11, 2024 for Model Number MES8800FZ0 maytag slide in range oven works cook top does not. no error codes. my first experience with oven working & cook top not, it has always been the other way around.
1 Answer Curtis, thank you for your question. As the entire cooktop is not working but the oven is, the most likely cause of failure would be in the main wire harness W11188439. With the power supply cord unplugged, the L1 and L2 supply wires to the infinite switches can be tested for continuity from the terminal block at the back of the appliance to the switches. If there is not continuity on one of the wires, the wire has a break and is preventing the cooktop from operating. Read More...
Jay April 01, 2023 for Model Number WEG760H0DS0 The unit runs however the convection fan does not work. I have spun the fan and it is free, yet does not come on when using convection cooking. What parts should I be looking for to resolve this?
1 Answer Jay, either the control W10885069 is bad or the fan W11441001 is bad. You can test for voltage at the fan. If you have 120vac the fan is bad. Read More...

Rick October 21, 2022 for Model Number WEG745HOFEO On this range nothing is displayed on the control panel. cannot work oven, set clock etc. what do i need and what is the part number of the item
1 Answer Rick, the range would need to be tested to identify if there is 120VAC reaching the appliance. If there is voltage, the wires at the main control W10885069 would need to be checked for any damage or loose connections. If the wires check ok, the main control would be the most likely cause of failure. Read More...
Neil B October 18, 2022 for Model Number MES8880DS0 Have a code F 1E0 Is this the control board and can you provide the part number required? Thanks
Suzanne July 25, 2021 for Model Number WEE730H0DS0 Our oven will not heat to correct temperature. We have tried a new temperature sensor and tried calibrating the oven. Could it be anything other than the control board? Please advise with part and part # needed. Thank you, Suzanne
1 Answer Suzanne, if the elements are in good condition, the failure would be in the main control W11050557. Read More...
Craig April 27, 2021 for Model Number WEE730H0DS0 Getting error code F1E0 call service relay board”. What part number board do I need? Do you have directions to use to replace?
1 Answer Craig, the error F1E0 would be in reference to the main control W11050557 failing. To access it after unplugging the range power cord, three screws on the bottom of the user panel would need to be removed and the lower panel pulled away. From there, there will be two screws (one on each side) securing the user panel to the range body. Once unscrewed, the console should lift up and out after unplugging the wire connections (it is recommended that pictures are taken of how the wires are connected). On each side of the front and the back, there will be a screw securing the cooktop to the frame as well that would need to be taken out, allowing the maintop to lift up and be moved out of the way. This will grant access to the main relay control. Read More...
