Kenwood May 13, 2015 The instructions that came with Whirlpool part number 285170 does not mention the O ring. I know that it should be facing the top to prevent the open end from catching on the faucet.. Where in the process does the o ring go in?

Many of Amazon's recent purchasers report that these "slides" are cheap/brittle replacements that don't last beyond the first use. DO YOU sell these "slides" separately and are they 0riginal Mfg. Quality?? Amazon customers say these "slides" are all they really needed. PLEASE reply.

1 Answer Hello Cheryl. Compress the ring on the fitting. Then you will see the retaining ring that is in the photo. You will pry off the retaining ring and pay attention to the parts on the unit as you slowly release the compressed ring. This is spring loaded so be careful.
