Jim October 29, 2018 for Model Number GU2475XTVB1 Started out with the left side of the console assembly being dimly lit at all times. Now all lights are lit but two of the lights will flash constantly. The unit will not start up at all now. What could be the problem?
1 Answer Jim, More than likely it will be the control panel and the part number will depend on your color. Read More...
Jorge R November 25, 2014 for Model Number GU2475XTVY1 When I press the buttons on my touch pad most of them light up, and others (the power scour, the start and cancel button) don't light up. And of course the dishwasher after I choose the cycle and press the start button does not start. Do I have to change the whole touch pad? could it be something else? Do you have the touch pad in silver? thank you
1 Answer Jorge, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty console in which the part number for the console is WPW10175241. Read More...
Dale October 19, 2013 for Model Number model # gu2475xtvy2 & serial # fo5201136 I have taken my 4 T15 screws out to get my control panel off of my whirlpool quiet partner i4 but it is still not wanting to come off!
1 Answer Dale, You will need to take all the screws out of the inner door panel and lift it up to access screws that hold the control to the outer panel and lift out the control panel. Read More...
Curt E. June 11, 2012 for Model Number GU2475XTVY1 The dishwasher just died, no power, no sound, no light nothing, replaced the control board same thing, check the terminal fuse and its good, also checked the door latch, now leaning towards the touch pad panel, any ideas.
1 Answer Hello Curt. You will need to test for power coming to the thermal fuse. If there is power there, and nothing is working, you will need to replace the thermal fuse W10258275. Sometimes the fuse will test good and actually be bad in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
