Rick, This issue sounds likely that the control board in the door has failed and will need to be replaced. The part number for the control board is WP8564547.

Hello Repairman, A rapidly blinking LED over one of the keys of the keypad (or sometimes a “dead” keypad/console) indicates one or more key switch lines are stuck or shorted on either the control WPW10084141 or the keypad WP3385741. As a note, the keypad is the first suspect. It can be tested by using the wiring diagram behind the kickpanel of the unit. If the door latch 8193882 or handle WP8534984 is broken, it will not cause the blinking light but would need to be replaced.

Peter, The clean light flashing in sequence of 7 flashes then this would be a issue of a failed heating circuit. You will want to check the heater for continuity and the thermostat for continuity. If they check good for continuity then check the wiring between the control board and the heating element. If this checks ok then the control board would be the issue.

Hello Stephen. It sounds like the ribbon cable is not getting installed properly. You will need to make sure the ribbon cable is seated in the unit.

My dishwasher has a time remaining digit display. It is showing "--" on the display. All keys work fine on the control panel. But pressing start button will not start the unit. Tried to turning off dishwasher breaker.. No help.. Ran diagnostic mode. Shows d3 and runs diagnostic cycle with no issues. Pressing cancel initiates 2 min drain cycle. I had the control panel (part# 3385741) already replaced from this site on 1/5/2014, because of a stuck/shorted key problem. Owners manual says -- means that door is not closed properly. Tested both door switches with multi-meter and both are good. Is it another problem with control panel again? Or is the logic board this time? Could it be thermal fuse? Please help.

On October 2, 2010 I purchased a console assembly Part #AP3774276 from Appliance Pros. I replaced the existing console assembly and the dishwasher was repaired. Yesterday the dishwasher stopped working during the cycle that would remove the water from the basin (standing water now in the dishwasher). I checked the electric panel to make sure it wasn't an electrical supply issue and it was not the problem. The console assembly does not light up nor did it have any flashing lights, etc. It just stopped working. I am planning to purchase another console assembly but I'm wondering if there are any additional electrical parts that could cause this problem. If I order the console assembly and that is not the problem, can I return the part to Appliance Pros. Thank you, Dave
