I was able to run the diagnostics and reset it once about 4 months ago, but this time it will not reset. So far all the research I have done indicates the control board is bad, am I headed in the right direction?

1 Answer Hello Larry, Since you checked the heater circuit and could not find anything wrong then you would have a faulty heater dirve circuit on the control and would need to replace control board WP8564547. Read More...
Don S July 30, 2012 for Model Number GU2500XTPQ3 Dishwasher was not functioning (possibly due to power surge). Replaced control board and unit seemed to be functioning properly. Just started cycle and light over heated dry is blinking rapidly, unit is not functioning and cannot reset unit. Is the keypad the problem or possibly the heater coil?
1 Answer Don, The blinking LED, indicates a faulty key pad " PROBLEM: WON’T RUN AND LED ABOVE KEY(S) IS FLASHING RAPIDLY . Stuck key(s) or shorted circuit(s) in keypad." WP3385745 Once you replace the control panel, you'll need to reset the control board " To start the Service Diagnostics Cycle, press the following keys, in order, in less than 6 seconds, while in standby: Heated Dry, Normal, Heated Dry, Normal" Allow the control to run the complete diagnosis cycle, to off. You should be fine from then on. Thanks Read More...
