Josh March 22, 2022 for Model Number MVWB765FW3 The machine powers on and off, but none of the buttons work with the exception of the power button. The dial and all other buttons do not work. I have opened it up and checked the circuit board and it was clean without any corrosion, etc. Do we need a new main console?
1 Answer Josh, as the user interface is not responsive with the exception of the power button, the failure would be with the console W11135391. Read More...
Mike January 10, 2022 for Model Number mvwb765w3 My unit turns on and off but I am unable to start a load in the machine and it continues to beep- I have cleaned the board of corrasion and am still not able to to get the unit to start a cycle. Any other ideas?
1 Answer Mike, using the temperature, soil level, and spin speed buttons, press each of them in a sequence of 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3. Once this is done, the display should beep and show 888. Once this is done, press the third button used and it will show the last known error code which can assist in identifying the specific circuit causing this failure. It is likely that the lid lock assembly W10810403 is the cause of failure in the lid switch portion. This can be tested for continuity at the main control W11429620 at the connection J6 from the green wire to the white wire while the lid is closed. If there is not continuity, the lid lock has failed. Read More...

Jeff September 03, 2019 for Model Number MVWB765FW1 Washer won't power up. I've checked the power cord to the main control board and power is there. When plugged in, a green light flashes on the board. I checked continuity on the wire harness to the console. All three wires have continuity. When I pulled the overlay off, I noticed some unusual marks (not unlike burns but not black) on the back of the board for the console. No response from anything done to the console. Want to make sure this is the right way to go. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Jeff, You should try putting the unit into the service diagnostic mode. If it will not go into the diagnostics, the issue is most likely the control W11611438. Read More...
