Taylor S October 08, 2025 for Model Number mvwb765fw3 My washer will power on ,but cannot adjust settings or press start. Already replaced the electrical housing cable. Will this fix this issue??
1 Answer Taylor S, This could be the issue, as the UI is included, but the main control could also be your issue. Try running the machine diagnostics to check for any error codes. ACTIVATING SERVICE DIAGNOSTIC MODE: 1. Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off). 2. Select any three (3) buttons (except POWER). Within 8 seconds, • Press and Release the 1st selected button, • Press and Release the 2nd selected button, • Press and Release the 3rd selected button; • Repeat this 3-button sequence 2 more times. Cory March 28, 2025 for Model Number Mvwb765fw4 My washer will turn on, fill and start the wash cycle but will not go into the rinse and spin cycles. When it stops cycling the tub sits with all the wash water in it. I’ve checked the diagnostics and get an error code of f7 e2. I can power off and the washer will drain the tub of water and that’s as far as it will go. All of the lights on the control panel are working so not sure if the panel is the problem or it’s the control module. Thoughts?
1 Answer Cory, the error code F7 E2 is going to indicate that the motor is overheating. If this is occurring even on light loads, the motor stator W11195971 would need to be tested. The windings should measure between 8 to 10 Ohms and anything out of that range would indicate a failed stator. Read More...
Rachel May 11, 2023 I'm looking for the clips that go with this part. I seemed to have lost them when I was testing the board.
Rachel May 11, 2023 Does this board come pre-programmed, or does it need to be programed upon install?
