Chris June 29, 2019 for Model Number GMC305PDT2 The display went out a couple months ago. The micro wave still works. Just no display.. It came back on and worked for a week.. Out again.. Is it the control board AP6009492 ?? Is there instructions on how to get the the board out ??
Kevin October 30, 2018 for Model Number GMC305PDB2 My oven stopped working and gave me an error code F2 E6, which translated to be the key pad being bad. I bought the key pad panel and installed it but the oven wouldn't come back on and the same error continues. The next thing the manual says to do is replace the control board if the key pad is not the issue. The question I have is, is it worth calling a technician to come in to review or just buy the control board and swap it out myself? It's not hard to do and based on the error code should fix the problem. I just don't like the idea of paying to have someone come out, tell me it's probably the control board, have to order the part and then come back and install. Am I missing something?
1 Answer Kevin, With that error, those are the only two possibilities it could be so I would just replace the control. Read More...
Dave October 23, 2018 for Model Number GMC275PDS6 Error code displayed - E2 n:F3 l id:27 Shut off circuit breaker to unit to prevent meltdown. Top element turns-on/initiates uncontrollably when power restored. What can we do?
1 Answer Dave, This error code is Oven temp too high and with the unit element coming on without setting it then this would be a stuck relay on the control board which is part number WP4456048. Read More...
Larry Fry September 21, 2018 for Model Number Gmc305pdt3 Display is blank and the oven doesn’t work. The microwave operates. What is the part number for the mother board?
1 Answer Larry, The "mother board" for the model number you supplied is WP4456048 / 4451993 Microcomputer. You may want to check the control transformer for 20 VAC out of the transformer and to the control board (across the two blue wires). Then replace the control board if all's OK. Read More...

Edward N March 30, 2014 for Model Number GMC275PDS6 My oven stoped working (the microwave was ok) The kyepad was responding but was not turning the ovens elements. We found behind the oven in electrical box one power wire(red) was burn down-reason-dont know. We restored the wire and 220v was present, but now the keypad is not responding and we have E1 and F2 codes What would be your recommendation ? Thank you, Edward.
1 Answer Edward, The F2 E1 error code is showing as a keypad keytail not connected. Access the control board and make sure that the keypad connector is firmly in place. Press the cancel and if the code returns after 60 seconds then replace the keypad. If the fault persists then replace the control. Read More...
Wendy February 18, 2013 for Model Number GMC305PDQ6 I am now seeing the codes E1 and F2. We have not been able to use the microwave part in 4 years. I think the repairman said it was $400 to fix the microwave. Will the oven work with these error codes showing? What would it need to fix these two codes? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Wendy, The error code is E1 F2 and are in conjunction with one another. This particular fault code is showing because it thinks the keypad tail is not connected. You will want to check the keypad ribbon harness for firm connection. Once checked then press the cancel button. If error code returns after 60 seconds then replace keypad. If the fault does persist then it will be necessary to also replace the control board. Read More...
