I opened the touch pad panel up and noticed dark marks across ribbon connector going to the pad. Could these be burnt wires? Jon E January 18, 2014 for Model Number MDB6759AWQ3 The dishwasher only works on the rinse, heavy and auto cycles - the light and normal cycles do not light up or work at all. Additionally, on the right side of the control panel, the timer is the only thing that works - tough scrub plus, hi temp wash, haeted dry and sanitize do not light up and/or work at all. I just replaced the control board and it still does exactly as before. I have done your cleaning suggestions to the connections as well. I have also tried shutting off the power to 'reset' with no effect. Could this be a touch pad having gone bad? Thank you.

Kevin August 25, 2013 for Model Number mdb6759aws3 I had the Sear repair person come to the house and said the control panel was defective and needed replacement. The dishwasher had only been used about 20 times since it is a summer house. The dishwasher is about 2 years old. Do I have to replace the whole control board of just part of it? Mary L November 07, 2012 for Model Number MDB6759AWQ3 My dishwasher would run for hours and not shut off. Then the lights and controls on the door handle would not light up. We replaced the control board (part # W102226297). The door panel controls still do not work, we cannot get the start button to ork, but occationally it will start up all by itself. The buttons are lighted up then and we can cancel it and drain it but cannot start it again. Any suggetions?
