  • Carries incoming water to the dishwasher and routes drain water back to the sink
  • Maintains a secure, leak-resistant seal during wash and drain cycles
  • Replace if the coupler won't attach or stay on the faucet, hoses are cracked/kinked, or you see leaks and poor fill/drain performance
What's included: One coupler with attached hose assembly
  • Unplug the appliance and turn off water before service
  • Verify the faucet adapter and O-rings are in good condition; hand-tighten only—do not overtighten with tools
  • Route hoses to avoid kinks and sharp bends
  • Open the faucet slowly and run a short test cycle; check all connections for leaks

JB, You will need the seal in the coupler assembly which is not a replaceable part. You would need to replace the coupler WP99001868.

Mary, You first need to check and make sure the flaot WP99002363 is not stuck or held in the up position. Then you;ll need to remove the lower access panel and,toe kick panel and check the water fill valve 903406 and hoses.

On your coupler hose assembly, the coupler has a sort of snap ring that comes off to allow you to see the internal parts of the spring and the four plastic snaps that lock on to the facuet adaptor. These are made of cheap plastic that gets hot and erodes till pops, it falls off and all your precious hot water goes down the drain. So please, please, tell me that you can buy the four plastic snaps that can be replaced in 2 minswith no tools and can't cost more the 50 cents to make vs an expensive replacement hose and coulper. Are they available and if not, why?

Dan

I bought a replacement coupler and hose assembly for a portable dishwasher. ORDER SUMMARY Order Date: 2/14/2013 Order Number: 3155802 AP4114683 (99001868) Coupler & hose assembly 1 $52.28 This hose was used because it was cross referenced as a substitute/replacement for the hose that was on the dishwasher I was working on: Part Number 99001868 (AP4114683) replaces 99001306, 99001868. The hose is now installed, but this coupler won't lock onto the part which is attached to the kitchen sink faucet, but the old hose does just fine. Clearly this hose is not compatible with that part. Q1: What is the part number for the piece which attaches to the kitchen sink faucet (where the aerator normally goes) that I now need to make this work? Q2: Might it make sense to just pair up that part with this hose and coupler set automatically so that people don't end up with this delay and with having to place two orders and pay two shipping fees? Thank you, Dan

Dan, The corresponding faucet adapter part number is WPW10254672 . If you haven't yet, remove the present adapter from the faucet, and insert it into the new hose coupler to see if it seats and locks. Your issue may be the clearance at the faucet, not the adapter or coupler. You may want to purchase an areator adapter at the local home improvement center. At AppliancePartsPeos.com, we distribute the parts as we recieve them from the manufacturer, Your idea would be a good one, but we're sure the manufacturer has a reason for not making certain components a "packaged deal".

Randy, Check and make sure the internal retainer ring "locks" into position, when the coupler ring is in the up position, a dab of "vaseline" may be needed to loosen the retainer ring, so it locks and unlocks properly when attached to the areator/adapter. Also check and make sure the adapter/areator WPW10254672 is not distressed, and properly installed.

Hello Debbie, the hoses are considered 8 foot hoses but they measure about 8 feet, 3-1/2 inches. Hope this helps!
