Patricia, If you remove the bottom screws from the base of the microwave, drop down the base and it will hang there. Remove the 2 screws holding the turntable motor and this should allow you to pull the stem off the shaft of the motor.

Hello Ruthy, if a piece broke off of the old coupler it would be best to retrieve it if you can but it's not likely to interfere with anything. Just make sure all of the old coupler is removed from the turntable motor shaft before installing the new coupler WPDE67-00213A. If the turntable turns after you replace the coupler you're probably okay. Hope this helps!

Hi Marsha, if you look under your glass tray WPDE74-20002B, you should have a coupler WPDE67-00213A that sits on top of the turntable motor shaft. If the coupler is okay and in place, it should turn when the microwave is on. If the coupler is not turning it means your turntable motor is not working. Check the wiring to the motor and replace the motor DE31-10172C if necessary. Hope this helps!

Hello Lillian! You will need to remove the turntable from the microwave. The turntable coupler WPDE67-00213A will pull off. If needed, you can take a putty knife and pry up and out on the coupler. The new coupler will push onto place. Hope this helps you!
