Sunil February 04, 2019 for Model Number KSSC36MHS00 I am looking for Part Number 2004005 and apparently it is no longer available. Is there an alternate part that would work and if so can you guide me please. I have a KitchenAid Refrigerator/Freezer which is in excellent shape and working fine except the Diffuser Board. Thurmond May 22, 2013 for Model Number Kitchenaid Kssp48qhs00 I have replaced the defrost thermostat bimetal and the timer but the timer won't run except in the defrost cycle. I have to manually turn it to the defrost cycle to defrost the coils. The heater element heats up fine, just the timer won't run. Help please...

2 Answers Hi Frank. If your diffuser is not working properly, then the temperatures will not be able to circulate from the freezer to the fresh food area. The defrost on/ off cycles will be messed up and possibly having frost build up on the freezer back wall starting a no- cool issue. This part # is 4388656. Hope this helps you. Thank you.
