The Drip Pan Kit is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. It is located below the oven cavity to catch any grease, food debris, or condensation. The drip pan keeps the lower interior clean and prevents messes from spreading. Includes 2 large pans and 2 small pans.

Over time, drip pans can become damaged or worn due to exposure to high temperatures, spilled food, and regular cleaning. Causes of a bad drip pan can include rust, discoloration, warping, or holes developing in the pan, which can compromise its ability to catch spills.

Symptoms of a bad drip pan include:

  • Grease or residue building up around the oven's base
  • An unpleasant cooking odor lingering below
  • Drips or food particles escaping onto nearby surfaces
  • Rust or holes forming in the metal pan over time

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Note: If your originals were a two-piece pan and ring, the ring will no longer be used. They are one piece now.

Zygmund for Model Number 3862VVV

What is the best type of drip pan? My old range had aluminum/(chrome?) pans and I may have I replace them once in the 20 some years. They were easy to clean, occasionally I pulled out steel wool to clean them if the dirt was bad. I bought my range in like new condition. The pans were burnt and replaced with hardware store chrome pans. If something drips while cooking and you cannot clean it while the coil is still red hot, it will burn and is terribly difficult to clean. Now I need to replace the pans again after 3 years. I vigilantly clean my stove and it is in great condition. I clean it any time it gets dirty. Am I doing some thing wrong or is the quality terrible?

Hello Zygmund. They do not offer the type of pans your unit use to have. The new pans are best cleaned in a sink of hot soapy water.

Hello Helene, The best way I've ever heard of cleaning an enameled part without scratching it is by heating white vinegar and letting them soak. After soaking for a while, they should wipe clean with a plain paper towel.
