The Idler Shaft Retaining Ring is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dryers. Also called an "E" ring, it is a sealing gasket positioned between the front and rear housing omponents. Maintaining an airtight seal prevents gas leakage and promotes efficient drying performance.
