I see that you have a replacement element but it does not indicate what burner it replaces. Can you identify the replacement burner for my situation? And, is there any other part that I should order for the install of a new burner? Thanks.
John April 12, 2017 for Model Number KECC507RSS04 The triple element on my cooktop gives problems. When I initially turn it on using the triple element, all works for a short while till it heats up, then it seems to shut down. I do not have a problem with either the double or single burner operation. Is it the cooking element or the switch that controls the element?
1 Answer John, The WP9763765 / 9763765 Switch,Infinite,triple is the component that controls the power to the burner element. Since the element works at the start of the cycle, you probably have a "weak" contact inside the switch and it's not cycling back "on" to send the power to the element. Read More...
