Jack February 03, 2012 for Model Number kera205pbt Is it difficult to replace the broiler element in my kitchen aid oven?
1 Answer Hello Jack! Hello! You will need to unplug the range. Remove the oven racks. In the back of the electric range, there are two screws that hold on a bake element. Remove these two screws and gently pull the element towards the door opening. Remove the wires from the bake element one at a time. You may need to use long nosed pliers to remove the wires. Be careful that the wiring doesn't fall back through the back of the oven. Once the wires have been removed, discard the old element and replace it with the new one. Once the new element is installed, plug the unit back in and test. Hope this information helps! Read More...
