1 Answer Hello Tony. I'm sorry but there are no instructions for this job in print. Basically, you will have to remove the unit from the installation so it can be opened to access the wiring. This is done by removing the screws around the perimeter and inside the openings that retain the main top to the unit. Once opened, simply place the wiring in the same configuration as originally and be sure they are properly connected. Of course the re-assembly is in the reverse order. Read More...
Gene K January 17, 2017 for Model Number JED7430AAB14 Right side of grill works perfectly. Left side doesn't get hot at all.
1 Answer Gene, You will want to check to see if there is power getting to the grill element. If there is power then the element will be faulty and if there is not power then the issue will most likely be in the infinite switch. Read More...

Joe D. January 07, 2017 for Model Number AP6011318 in place of AP228321 My appliance store indicated that I can use part #AP6011318(Whirlpool) in place of AP2028321(GE) which is now discontinued. The logic being that Jennair manufactured the GE Grill and the parts are interchangeable. So if this is correct, can I interchange the parts noted above? Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Hello Joe. No one is showing the 2 elements crossing over. They do look like they are measuring the same. However, we can not recommend it if the manufacture does not recommend it. Sorry. Read More...
T.J. March 22, 2015 for Model Number GO106B I need to know how to replace the heating element in this old Jenn-air GO106b downdraft grill. Your website brought up replacement part number AP5781615. Thank you
1 Answer Hello T.J., To replace the element, you will need to turn off the power to the unit and verify the voltage is off before beginning. You will then remove the two screws retaining the element and the screws retaining the control escutcheon. The wires will need to be traced to the infinite switch to replace it. Be sure to note the wiring connections before unplugging, (a picture with a cell phone works great). You may need a short piece of string to pull through with the old wires and use it to pull in the new wires. Read More...
Gene Dennison December 26, 2014 for Model Number JED 7430 AAB14 Had a flame-up, tripped circuit breaker, my electrician disconnected that side, the fan and other side heating element are OK. So I need to replace burned out side with your element G part #AP 578 1615. Question...How does one remove the damaged element?...are there instructions with your replacement part?
1 Answer Gene, To replace the burner you would need to lift the cooktop from installation. You will have to remove the vent grill and remove the screws holding the down draft to make it easier, then lift out from the cabinet and remove the screws around the perimeter to get the glass top off. Once off you will have access to the burners to replace. Read More...
