I have found part# AP6007630 that is supposed to be compatible but I haven't been able to determine the dimensions. My current element is 14 X 14.5 inches and my oven interior dimensions are 15 inches deep X 19 inches wide. Will AP6007630 fit?

Chris October 15, 2013 for Model Number Rf365pxdqo My oven doesn't heat up good, if I test the baking element what should it read with the ohms test? Also if I need a new one how do I know which one it is, you have 2 of them listed for this stove.
1 Answer Hello Chris. The element WP312309 should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

1 Answer Hello John. Disconnect the power to the unit. Open the door and remove the racks from the oven. Then remove the screws holding the element to the back of the oven. Pull the element out and unplug the wires from the element. Reinstall in reverse order with the new element WP312309. Hope this helps. Read More...
