But, The pantry drawer end caps are secured to the walls using a 1/4 in. hex head screw, so you'll need a 1/4" nut driver or socket and ratchet wrench. 1 Answer Tom, You don't want to attempt to remove the clear plastic window, You'll want to remove the pantry door/lid as an assembly. It's not that difficult, but you do have to be careful, in order to keep from breaking anything. Pull out the drawer, slide the door over to one side, then carefully press in on the side pivot point of the door and lift up and out on the door.
