Robert July 16, 2017 for Model Number WRX988SIBM00 Per some answered questioned by you on this site to other customers, you indicated on other models a plug was not needed if the water filter was removed to by-pass. We have a reverse osmosis system to the refrigerator so do not need filtered. However when dispensing the water after removing the filter the refrigerator still rings insistantly and flashes replace filter. Can this be turned off. Can you help to let us know how? Thanks Robert

I am not bothered by the "replace filter" light that is always on, however after 2 months it now beeps a few times after i dispense water. I don't notice any problems but would like the beep to go away. I was wondering if a bypass plug may help?
