Harvey February 15, 2019 for Model Number 110-94832201 I need to replace the door handle on our Kenmore dryer. It looks like I need to disassemble the door to get at the screws that hold the handle in place. How do I disassemble the door? Thanks.
1 Answer Harvey, the easiest way is to remove the door hinge cover from the door and then remove the door from the hinge. From there, you will see screws along the inner panel of the door, you will need to remove those in order to separate the inner door from the outer door and this will give you access to change out the handle. I am wondering if the original handle is still available somewhere that I could buy and replace myself as I am tired of calling for warranty monthly on this cheap knockoff version of the original that came with the unit.
