Byron H. August 16, 2023 for Model Number SF362LXTY1 My door will not open at all due to what appears to be a damaged hinge on the right side. The problem is not the oven lock because the left side doesn't appear to be stuck. I pull on it as hard as I can and it will still not open. Is there a way to get the door open so the hinges can be replaced?
1 Answer Byron, unfortunately, if the door will not open at all, the only other option would be removing the side panel of the range to access the hinge receiver. The bottom portion of the hinge arm would then need to be ground out enough to allow it to slide out. The receiver W10647259 would likely need to be replaced in this procedure. Read More...
