The Lid Hinge is an OEM part for Whirlpool washers. It is responsible for supporting and allowing the smooth opening and closing of the washer lid. Fits the female end of the washer lid hinge. For the male end order WP35-2045 and if you're unable to use the old mounting screw, order WP25-7893.

A bad Lid Hinge can occur due to regular use, wear and tear, or accidental damage. If the hinge becomes loose, bent, or broken, it can compromise the function and safety of the washer lid.

Symptoms of a bad Lid Hinge include:

  • Lid not staying open or falling shut unexpectedly.
  • Difficulty in opening or closing the lid.
  • Visible damage or deformation of the hinge.
  • Excessive movement or wobbling of the lid.

This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.
