Hello Sally, this manufacturer as well as others do not pre-thread screw holes in certain parts, on the factory production line the screws used are self-threading, meaning they cut their own threads as they are driven into the holes of the part, likely the original screws will do the same just be carefully to have the screw aligned to go straight to the hole.

Hello Mike, If these holes are not threaded, the screws will pass through the holes and thread into the part in the door and/or in the cabinet. If threads are needed in the openings and are not threaded, the screws will be self-tapping and will cut the threads when installed.
