Chuck M April 06, 2016 for Model Number KAWS850LE2 The pressure hose that connects to the water level switch. Is there a sending unit in the outer tube? Can it get stopped up? Not getting enough pressure to turn water off. Blow in the tube and it stops the water. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Chuck. Yes, the air dome and the hose do get clogged sometimes. If this is the case, you need to clean them out. If they are clear, then you will need to replace the pressure switch on the unit. Read More...

Jean January 01, 2016 for Model Number WTW57ESVW1 The original problem was the water inlet valve was bad. We changed the inlet valve and flow meter and now, water is shooting out of the little hole on the stem of the Water inlet valve in between the two prongs. What could be the cause of this? Thanks
1 Answer Jean, With water shooting out of the black nozzle between the terminals on that nozzle, the issue will either be a clamp that is not fully seated allowing water to come out of where the hose is or you may have received a faulty water valve. Read More...

Wendy May 29, 2015 for Model Number WTW5500XL0 When the washer is sensing how much laundry is in the machine, it starts to make a loud humming/buzzing sound and will not stop until I unplug the washer. Luckily the plug is up high on the wall so I can reach it. The washer will not start working until I have tried 3 or 4 different wash cycles, unplugged and plugged back in half a dozen times or more and reset the breaker at the panel a couple of times. This process could take half an hour before the washer will start. Is this the switch wearing out? At the end of this august, I would have had it for 5 years and it just started doing this over the past 2 weeks. Very frustrated and ready to throw it out. Thank you in advance for the help.
1 Answer Wendy, With the unit making a humming and buzzing noise it sounds as though it is trying to fill with water but the water is not coming in. You will want to check to make sure that the screens in the valve are not clogged. If not then it sounds like the water valve may be the cause of the issue. You can also put the unit into diagnostic and see if any error codes show up. Tech sheet will tell you how to do this and is located in the control panel. Read More...
Sd May 18, 2015 for Model Number mvwb300wq0 maytag washer I get a code "F32" the reference is " pressure switch" but all I see on the diagram is a hose. Is that right?
Shirley P. November 17, 2014 for Model Number ETW4400VQ2 My washer continues to fill with water throughout the washing process. Would I need the fill valve or the pressure hose?
1 Answer Hello Shirley, Check the water pressure to the unit first. This should be done by checking for clogged screens in the water supply hoses and the water valve. If no clogged screens are located and the water pressure is sufficient, unplug the4 unit while it is filling. If the water continues to flow, replace the water valve. If the water stops, replace the water switch W10339334. Read More...
Ed November 16, 2014 for Model Number KAWE777BWH1 The water overfills. I checked & tested the hose it looks OK. I tested the water level switch it looks good to me. However I am not sure if I tested it properly. Do you have a video?
1 Answer Ed, easy way to check to see which part is bad is to start the washer and let it begin filling. Remove the power to the unit, if it continues to fill you'll need to replace the inlet valve 285805 and if it stops filling you'll need to replace the pressure switch 3362134. Hope this helps. Susan September 14, 2014 for Model Number WATER LEVAL HOSE I have a Kenmore portable washing machine 1102670092. I had someone look at the machine there looked like the clear plastic hose was attached at one end and not the other. Where does it get attached to?
1 Answer Hello Susan, While all models are different and the model number you listed does not come up as valid, I can only give you a general diagnosis. If this is the water level switch hose, one end connects to the water level switch and the other end will connect to either the lower part of the outer tub or onto the drain pump housing. This provides full pressure against the hose during times water is present in the tub. If it connects to the outside of the outer tub it will attach to a part of the outer tub called the air dome.
