M S July 06, 2017 for Model Number WRS322FD Whirlpool new side by side. Couldn't get one for over a month with out the ice maker. Took Ice maker unit out. I need a basket to fit that slide area to put my ice trays and ice bin. Unit area of the freezer is 9.5 A regular freezer shelf won't work as there are no holes to add a shelf in that area. 9.5 by 13. Thank you for your help. Not a happy camper at this time.

Gerald K. January 04, 2013 for Model Number 10671182101 Is it possible to clean the existing ice tray? If not how difficult is it to replace the tray? The tray runs over when water is put in empty tray.
1 Answer Hello Gerald, It is possible to clean the ice tray on these icemakers if you remove the icemaker and make sure the motor module doesn't get wet. You just heat white vinegar and use an old toothbrush to clean it. If it is too bad and won't come clean, or if any of the finish is coming off, you would be better off to replace the icemaker WPW10190965 as an assembly since this is more cost effective.
