Charles M. August 29, 2016 for Model Number Jenn Air C301 Regarding the Indicator Lights on my C301, of which there are three; 2 on left Control Escutcheon, 1 on right. Having installed new Infinite Switches, I now can't figure out what holds the Indicator Light sockets in position beneath the Escutcheons. Do the red lenses themselves protrude through the Escutcheons to fit into and retain the sockets beneath? If that's the case, apparently the bottoms of my lenses have broken, or sheared off, to the point they won't reach and fit into the socket openings. Do the sockets' "butterfly wings" come into play somehow? I am absolutely puzzled. Thanks for any guidance before I order new lenses !!
1 Answer Hello Charles, You are correct that the LED light assembly 715396K clips onto the lens to stay in place. The "butterfly wings" hold pressure against the panel so it will not drop off. If the lenses do not have a "ridge" at the bottom for the LED assemblies to clip to they will need to be replaced. If the LEDs have any damage, they will need to be replaced. Read More...
Don H. April 18, 2016 We have a Jenn-Air stove top Model C202 and after a storm the left indicator light stays on constantly. The burners still work correctly but light stays on. Can you offer advice as to what replacement part I will need. Thanks for your time.
1 Answer Don, It's probably a coincidence, but you'll need the Surface Unit Switch (infinite switch). The L1 to P contact in the switch is stuck closed, and the light remains on. You'll need to check the series number on the serial plate, there are two different switches for that model number. If the series number is 1 or 2, you'll need the 700855K/ 700855K. If the series number is 3 or higher, you'll need the W11120795/WPY703147. Both switches are in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...

Aartie B April 30, 2014 for Model Number c202 Jenaire Cook top I ordered AP4090437 - indicator light kit. Can you give instructions about how to remove old lights. Do you have instructions on line that I can look up or print up? The instrs I see on this page are for another range/model and no help to me at all. Thank you
1 Answer Aartie, To remove the indicator light you will remove the air grill. On the back side of the control there will be 2 screws down in the vent area, remove the screws. Carefully lift the control assembly up and then tilt it back. Do not pull to hard as the wires could come loose. This will give access to the indicator light to replace. Read More...
Ray June 17, 2012 for Model Number Jenn-Air C238 The kit states that two lenses are included. Does that mean that it is a pair of lights and lenses or just one light and two lenses? If the latter, I would assume that it's a universal kit for multiple models with different lens depths but using the same light.
1 Answer Hello Ray, There are two lenses in the kit to cover more than one series. Only one will be used on your model. Only one light is included. Read More...
Thomas September 30, 2011 for Model Number C201 what does the indicator lamp attach to. I can buy a pair of new indicator lamps with the order I am preparing with switches, burners, ceramic blocks, knobs etc. but the ones I have inside look just like the new ones with some tabs fins on top and mine work but they don't seem to attach nor snap on to anything. What are they supposed to attach to or snap on to - or how do they attach to the undersurface of the control panel? There doesn't seem to be anything there for them to attach to.
1 Answer Hello Thomas. The indicator light 715396K slides into the slots around the lens opening and the lip on the top of the light locks the light into place. Hope this helps. Read More...
