Patrick January 27, 2015 for Model Number KERC700LBS0 Kitchenaid Oven Oven bulb burned out. replacement bulb doesnt work but is good (tested separately). The bulb that burned out looks like it got hot as some of the the solder around the base of the bulb is melted. Pulled the back panel and no power on the wires going to the socket. I can hear a relay/click when I open the door or hit the light button on the panel. Is there a separate transformer on this, or other power test I can do to identify what has failed?
1 Answer Patrick, You can test the oven light at the control board from connector P1 pin number 4 to P1 pin 1 for 120 vac with the door open or the oven light switch turned on.
