Hello Cheryl, You will want to pull unit out and remove the lower cover that covers the compressor. Once you have the compressor cover off you will remove the control board to the left of the compressor. Unplug the unit. Take the control board out and check to see if there are any burn marks on the control. If it has any burn marks then the control will need to be replaced. If it checks ok then you will want to reinstall board but leave so that you can do a voltage check. With refrigerator door open, check for 120 vac on connector P2 between pins 3 and P1 pin 2. If it is just the upper light that is not coming on then it may just need to be tightened a little more.
