Hello Ann. No, the light bulb 8009 unscrews from the socket and sometimes can be tight to remove. You may want to use one of the lid openers that you use on jar lids that are a soft rubber to grip the bulb and remove it. Hope this helps.

Hello Gary. Are you looking in the cooking compartment or on the back of the unit? It appears to be on the rear of the unit. If it isn't there, you may have to remove the main cover to access it. I hope this helped!

Hi Inge. The bulb is part # 8009. The cover is part # WP9781049. Remove power. Remove door. With a flashlight, remove cover and see if the old bulb base is still inside the bulb socket. If so then you will need a pair of needle nose pliers to gently "unscrew" it out. Thank You.

Hi Tom. The Cabinet cover has to be removed. The bulb part # 8009. It is located behind the controls on the Rt. rear above a log capacitor. There is a screw that holds the socket mount assy. You can remove to access the bulb completely if this helps. Thank you.
