Lilly March 21, 2014 for Model Number MH7140XFZ Whirlpool microwave over the range light is supposed to be 30 watts (model #MH7140XFZ). Whirlpool's replacement is 40 watts was sent to my Whirlpool appliance dealer "this is a substitute". This bulb turned my sockets "crispy" in a very short time. Now I have new sockets but cannot find a 30 watt bulb. Was told by one "official" Whirlpool parts dealer that Whirlpool had changed its mind and 40 watts was here to stay.
1 Answer Lilly, The bulb has been changed to a 40 watt bulb and is not available in the 30 watt. The part number is 8206232A. Read More...

Dave S February 28, 2014 for Model Number MH7110XBB-4 I bought this house and it came with a Whirlpool Microwave Model #MH7110XBB-4. The night light bulbs where burned out. I removed them from their sockets and noticed they where black in side the bulb. I have replaced the bulbs three time since August 2013 and each time the bulbs have been burned out and are black in color. One of the sales person said that I may need a halogen bulb? Can you help me. Thanks Dave
1 Answer Hello Dave. Your model number does not use the halogen bulbs, it uses 8206232A. Look for a bad light bulb socket on the unit. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Joe. WPW10211457 is the control board for the unit. If the bulb does not change levels, the board is bad. The bulb you ordered is correct for the unit. Read More...

Karen February 04, 2014 for Model Number WMH53520ABO Hi ~ While this light bulb, #AP3886256, appears under my appliance model number, when I cross reference it says it's not compatible. Most likely it's something I've done wrong . . . so can you help? It's a 30 watt bulb (and I didn't even know it was there until I went to clean the grill thing-y). Thanks:) Karen
