Claudio June 27, 2013 Talking about the Emerson Part FSP2198747 for a Whirpool FA33BMJWD-4227, as is NLA, the replacement now is the 8201703. As the model FA33BMJWD-4227 is 220V, in another question (in this page) you say: The 220V motor is NLA, However, the new motor 8201703 comes with the instructions on how to wire it to work properly on the unit. My question: The new part is compatible with 220v.? Thanks a lot for your answer Claudio
1 Answer Claudio, We would need to have the model number of your refrigerator to determine if this will work for your unit. If the motor is a 120 vac motor then it would not be able to be used in a 220 vac unit unless there is a transformer to reduce the power. Read More...

Jodie March 24, 2013 for Model Number 6ED20TKXGW02 Need to replace the condenser fan motor (old Emerson part number 2198747) with GE part number 483215. No wiring instructions have been provided with new part. New motor has two black wires and a green grounding wire coming from it. One of the black wires has some white writing on it, the other has no writing but has grooves in the black plastic casing. How do these two black wires correlate to the existing red and white wires in the fridge?
1 Answer Jodie, This is an ac motor and it does not matter which wire you connect to the other, the fan will work with either wire connected to line and either wire connected to neutral. Read More...
