For Whirlpool Motor, Variable Speed (Part Number: OEM18019200)

Robert for Model Number MAH5500BWW

I was asking about a question about the drive pully on the motor. Could it have moved up the shaft closer to the motor or is it unable to move. I know that I had mentioned that the bely keeps wanting to ride to the inside and has started to damage the bottom of the tub, But its not that bad yet to where I think the tub needs to be replaced. It is not leaking and doesn't seem to be to damaged that bad yet. But when I put the belt on again it goes right back to the inside of the tub spindle. Like the motor and tub are not lined up straight anymore.

Hello Robert. No, the pulley did not move. The bearings are bad and that is what is causing the problem your having. You will need the outer tub to get the bearings and seals. They do not offer them separately. Hope this helps.
