Andrea December 03, 2017 for Model Number ED5PVEXWS02 I have a whirlpool black side by side. I bought it used. It works great but the hose at the top right hand side of the refrigerator on the back where the hose goes into the refrigerator as come off and flooded my kitchen. There isn't any kind of compression fitting or any thing on the hose to keep it on. Is there suppose to be and what is the part #. Thank you
1 Answer Andrea, No, there is no longer a "hose clamp" available for the ice maker fill tube / grommet connection on the back of the refrigerator. But, you have a problem with the ice maker fill tube freezing, and causing the tube to "blow out" of the connector. This is usually due to low water pressure and / or a "seeping" fill valve solenoid. Samuel December 09, 2013 for Model Number 1069751752 The hose that goes to ice maker came loose or blew off at top of back of fridge that has hose clamp. The clamp looks a little rusty and the hose looks like it has black stuff in side, does that mean maybe that plastic part that goes inside ice maker is clogged also that is why it came apart, if so how do you clean it or is there a replacement part, and what is the part number for all the parts, and does hose kit come with compression nuts.
