Jane R May 15, 2015 for Model Number MDBH979SABO I am trying to remove the control panel to replace it and took four screws out, but the control panel still will not come out - I do not want to force it - Help!
1 Answer Jane, You will need to take the screws out of the inner door panel and lift the door panel up. Once you have it lifted up there will be 4 screws that are 1/4" hex head. Frank B January 26, 2015 for Model Number maytag dishwasher w10475753c Our maytag dishwasher of less than 2 yrs old cannot program the wash cycles and stays stuck on cycles we did not program. After reading numerous issues with this model the control panel is in question. What is the correct replacement part number so I can order this and repair this myself. thanks

Mary August 28, 2014 for Model Number MDBH979SAB I'm confused do I need number 3 on the diagram which is the electronic control board or do I need the part above for 89.00? My dishwasher is stuck on the Drain/cancel cycle. I have to keep my door open otherwise it drains over and over and sometimes it picks random washes but won't finish the cycle. It will not allow me to choose any buttons except the cancel/drain button.
