Jimmy May 15, 2011 for Model Number DU1100XTPTA Clean led blinks 7 times then pauses then repeats. Book says call for service its a heater circuit problem. What is the usual cause? Could it be a fix I can do without calling in a service tech. To replace a board or push a reset button?
1 Answer Hello Jimmy. With the dishwasher in stand by mode, press heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal, within 6 seconds. This will clear the code. Try getting the water hot before starting the dishwasher and see if that fixes the problem. If it does not, you will need to test the heater W10518394 and the thermostat WP661566. They should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Tania March 26, 2011 for Model Number DU1101XTPQ6 The dishwasher keeps blinking on the clean light. When you push the start button it doesn't work and when you click the cancel button it makes a loud noise. I was wondering what is the problem?
Mark February 28, 2011 Normal, high temperature, cancel drain lights continually blinking. Circuit breaker turned off and on lights begin to blink 30 seconds later.
1 Answer Try cleaning the ribbon cable going to the control board. It needs to be good and dry, with no debris on it. If it is clean and no moisture is present, and the unit is still flashing, then you have a bad control panel. Hope this helps. Read More...
