Richard March 18, 2011 for Model Number MAYTAG MDBH945AWW3 3 questions please: 1. Symptoms- "Hi Temp Wash", "Heated Dry", "Heavy" and "Delay-2" indicators light when the CYCLE SELECT button is pressed. However, pressing CYCLE SELECT again changes nothing nor does pressing START/CANCEL. Is the key pad more likely at fault or is it the attached circuit board? I also observed that the ribbon cable appears to have a small, brown blemish (chemical splash?) trapped between the outer layers of the ribbon. 2. If the key pad (oval section which appears to be removable from the plastic housing) is at fault can it be purchased instead of the whole panel? 3. Why is the white PANEL-CON higher priced than the other two color PANEL-CONs? Many thanks
1 Answer Hello Richard, the correct control panel for your unit is 6-919833. 1. It sounds like moisture damaged the control panel on this unit, which will explain the brownish residue found inside. 2. The touch pad membrane is not sold separate from the control panel per manufacturer. 3. We offer our parts at a very competitive price. In certain cases we will have to match or beat prices. Refer to our price match policy for further information: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/orderhelp.aspx. Hope this helps! Read More...
Linda March 11, 2011 for Model Number MDBH945AWW Does the Panel come with all the inner parts or is this just the outside face replacement. My dishwasher does not turn on and I was told it was the touch pad assembly. Is this picture what I am looking for or is it just the outside of it?
1 Answer Hello Linda! The control panel 6-919833 is the touch pad, it includes the ribbon cable only. For the electronic control board you will need WPW10218822. Hope that helps! Read More...
