Lee September 23, 2011 for Model Number MDBH945AWB3 How can I check the door switches and the wiring? Thanks again
1 Answer Hi Lee. The door latch assy. is part # WPW10130695. You can buy the door striker part # is WPW10119337, and use it to toggle the door switches shut/on and open/off. This will free up your hands to electrically check the door switches. Make sure the unit is level front to back and side to side. All 4- legs touching the floor snugly so the door /latch don't get cocked under a full heated load in the tub. This in turn breaks switches, control panels and latch assy. Thank you. Read More...
Lee September 23, 2011 for Model Number MDBH945AWB3 I bought this part and installed it. Now the lights light up, but it doesn't start when I press the start button. Do I need more replacement parts or did I miss something? Thank you
1 Answer Lee, First check and make sure both the door switches and wiring operate properly. Check and make sure the new touchpad ribbon is not twisted, kinked, or creased, and properly installed to the control board connection. Otherwise you'll need a new control board WPW10218822.
