Gerald E. March 19, 2016 for Model Number do not know I have a Whirlpool Gold trash compactor about 14 or 15 years old in white. Can I use a stainless steel panel to put on the front of it in place of the white one, or do I need to ge a new trash compactor?

Most of that style compactor had a removable frame that surrounded the door, you should be ale to remove the frame ans install a panel.
